Digital Scholarship Fellows Successfully Complete 2023-2024 Program

The Digital Scholarship team at St. Lawrence University wants to commend the following students for their participation in the 2023-2024 Digital Scholarship Fellowship:

Amara McGowan, Caden Truscio, Francesca Mnenula, Gabriela Rojas, Inci Ucar, Maggie McNally, Melanie Hernandez, Navya Aggarwal, Tim Kashkarov, Esther Ntankwa, Wanjiru Mwathi, Katie Hallett, Mahmoud Ali, Brooklyn Phillips, Owen Purinton, Mutanu Mbithi, Emma Kahle, Taiyara Nudrat, and Tafadzwa Musasa.

The Digital Scholarship Fellows, working with Eric Williams-Bergen and Nicole Roche, learned how to film a professional interview in a workshop this spring.

This year marked an expansion of the program from 10-12 students per year to now 20. The scholars met in two different cohorts to help maintain the smaller workshop size and hands-on nature of the workshops.

Workshops included Web Design, Digital Photography and Editing, Audio Recording and Editing, Digital Storytelling with Film, Video Editing, and many more. Each workshop this year included a “Generative A.I. Moment” that featured a close look at the latest A.I.-powered tools related to that day’s workshop.
