Digital Scholarship Welcomes 2023-2024 Fellows
The Digital Scholarship team recruited a record number of Digital Scholarship Fellows for the 2023-2024 academic year. The program, offered in partnership with the Sophomore Success Initiative, is designed to offer sophomores an opportunity to build their digital competencies through hands-on workshops on topics such as digital photography, web design, and audio production.
New to this year’s workshops is a focus on the role of Generative AI, including the hands-on use of A.I. platforms and a critical examination of A.I.’s role in society.
This year’s fellows represent majors as diverse as government, biomedical sciences and public health, English, business in the liberal arts, computer science, digital media and film, and many more.
The 2023-2024 Digital Scholarship Fellows include the following: Mahmoud Ali, Katie Hallett, Melanie Hernandez, Emma Kahle, Tim Kashkarov, Temphilo Lukhele, Mutanu Mbithi, Amara McGowan, Margaret McNally, Francesca Mnenula, Tafadzwa Musasa, Wanjiru Mwathi, Esther Ntankwa, Taiyara Nudrat, Brooklyn Phillips, Owen Purinton, Gabriela Rojas, Caden Truscio, Inci Ucar, and Ceron White.
