Sennheiser G4 Setup
Frequency Scan
- Turn off the Transmitter.
- On the Receiver, press “Set” to open the menu.
- Scroll to “Easy Setup,” and press “Set.”
- Scroll to “Scan New List” and press “Set” to start the scan. (This will take a minute or two.)
- Once the scan is complete, use the “Up” and “Down” buttons to choose a Bank Number and press “Set.”
- Lastly, choose a Channel Number and press “Set.”
- To Sync the Transmitter and Receiver, press “Set” on the Receiver to open the Menu.
- Go down to “Sync” and press “Set”.
- Hold the Infra-Red Interface (the purple-is square next to the on/off button) on the Transmitter next to the infra-red interface on the Receiver. Once synced, the Receiver will display a checkmark, and the frequency numbers will match on both packs.

Sync/Lync Receiver and Transmitters
METHOD 1
- To Sync the Transmitter and Receiver, press “Set” on the Receiver to open the Menu.
- Go down to “Sync”, and press “Set”.
- Hold the Infra-Red Interface (the purple square next to the on/off button) on the Transmitter next to the infra-red interface on the Receiver. Once they’re synced, the Receiver will display a checkmark, and the frequency numbers will match on both packs.
METHOD 2
- Use the “Up and Down” buttons to match the Bank Number shown on the Receiver, then press “Set”. Do the same to match the Channel Number.
- On the Transmitter, press “Set” to open the menu.
- Go down to “Frequency Preset” and press “Set”.

Adjust sensitivity levels by watching the audio meters and considering what will be recorded.
