“Adirondack Perceptions: 200+ Years of Fiction Within the Blue Line” an exhibition and bibliography of Adirondack fiction from 1802–2014 by St. Lawrence University student Fellow Jacqueline Colt was on display in the Special Collections Reading Room in Owen D. Young Library for the Fall 2014 semester.
Colt took Dorothy Plums’s famous 1958 Adirondack Bibliography (with updates in 1966 and 1992) and brought it up to date, recording every work of Adirondack fiction she could document.
Working with Special Collections Librarian Mark McMurray, the result is a 500-plus title bibliography of fiction within the Blue Line.
Additionally, Colt selected key works of Adirondack fiction that were on exhibit. Director of Digital Initiatives, Eric Williams-Bergen, collaborated with Colt to create this digital database and exhibit of Adirondack Fiction.
