Carmen Libombo, ’23, is a young African woman originally from Maputo, Mozambique. She expects to double major in International Economics and Multilanguage: Spanish and Italian with a minor in Statistics. Driven by her faith, big dreams, and the desire to be the change she wants to see, Carmen hopes to work for sustainable development of emerging countries, in particular her home country, Mozambique. Carmen is interested in coding and programming, hence she has joined the Digital Fellowship to extend her understanding of coding as well as other digital technology tools. She looks forward to using the skills obtained in the program to create innovative solutions to tackle development issues with an emphasis on the education sector.
