Selam! Abigail Yosef is an Ethiopian American from the Washington DC greater area. Her upbringing in a Christian, Ethiopian, large family has taught her how to work hard and spread joy. She is very invested in giving back to Ethiopia, hence her passion for economics and her goal to work in economic development, especially in East Africa. She is also very passionate about diversity and inclusion especially on the St. Lawrence campus, she believes that her actions must speak for her beliefs so she is very involved on campus. She is the President of Carefree Black Girls, she works in Admissions as a University Ambassador and in the Multicultural Pod and she is the treasurer of African Student Union. Abigail also believes it is important to get involved in other organizations in order to participate in organizations that gives voice to students and allow for collaboration with the organizations she takes part in. She also holds positions in the Thelomathesian society and on the Association for Campus Entertainment boards. Her involvement coupled with her academic achievements shows her dedication to the St. Lawrence campus in order to spread positivity.
