Eric brings together his knowledge of scholarly resources and emerging technologies to help the libraries and IT focus on the planning, implementation and support of digital projects such as web resources, digital collections and institutional repositories. He provides leadership in the consideration, use and support of new and emerging technologies and publishing trends, such as e-books, data repositories, mobile applications, open access, and open data. Finally he provides technical, teaching and planning assistance in support of the digital scholarship, data management and creative work associated with digitally-oriented instruction and research across the University.
Eric is also a member of the University’s Library leadership team.
He received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from St. Lawrence University, a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Simmons College and is a Frye Leadership Institute fellow.
