DSpace

DSpace is a groundbreaking digital repository system that captures, stores, indexes, preserves, and redistributes an organization’s research data. DSpace is jointly developed by MIT Libraries and Hewlett-Packard Labs. St. Lawrence is considering joining the Liberal Arts Scholarly Repository (LASR) which currently utilizes the DSpace software platform.

Digital Asset/Collections Management

The process of storing, retrieving and distributing digital assets (files), such as photographs, datasets, documents, and multimedia files in a centralized and systematically organized system, allowing for the quick and efficient storage, retrieval, and reuse of the digital files.

CONTENTdm

CONTENTdm is a digital collection management package that can handle all types of digital documents. St. Lawrence University currently uses CONTENTdm for the management of several collections.
